Contributing Writer
I've spent most of my life teaching English language and literature in the English, Scottish, French and American systems. Along the way, I've worked as an advertising copywriter, a freelance music journalist and have recently published studies of Ian Rankin's Black & Blue and Anne Donovan's Buddha Da. Early in 2011, Leckie & Leckie will publish my Success Guide for essay writing skills. My credentials for publishing this stem partly from a career spent in helping students write well, partly from a PhD from Aston University, Birmingham, UK whose focus is firmly on how academic texts are constructed.
